For more than 40 years CARMANAH Design and Manufacturing Inc., formerly CAE Machinery, has operated as a repair facility for all major mechanical equipment associated with Kraft digesters and the TMP process. For many of those years we were an OEM licensee. During this time, we have refurbished approximately 1,600 high and low pressure feeders ranging from some of the smallest, 165L LPF and 260L HPF, to the largest, #8 LPF and 1500L HPF. We have also refurbished numerous Twin Refiner Assemblies including the T60. Carmanah has considerable experience in the repair and manufacture of a variety of other Pulp Mill related equipment.
Our manufacturing facility has a lifting capacity of 40 tons and machinery adequately sized for Pulp Mill equipment. Our Quality Management System is registered under ISO 9000-2001 standards and all welding procedures are certified to the ASME code. We have continuously operated as a major designer of machinery for the forest industry as well as a major player in the manufacture and repair of machinery for the pulp industry.
Effective in 1998, our OEM license agreement and territorial restrictions were removed, enabling us to pursue business in new areas. We have been providing our vast customer base with superior service and high quality dependable equipment, both in manufacture and repair, and can provide the same value to your Pulp Mill maintenance function. |
